About the role

OccuPros is hiring a full-time Bilingual Safety Specialist to represent us on client sites and deliver safety training to crews in both English and Spanish. This is a salaried, 40-hour position based in Arlington, Texas, serving the Dallas and Fort Worth area with regular travel to client locations. A worker who sits through a class in a language they only half understand has been documented, not trained. That gap is where people get hurt. We are looking for someone who can close it: a safety professional who works in English and Spanish with equal confidence, and who would rather a crew genuinely understand one hazard than nod politely through twelve. You do not need to be an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer to apply. We hire for character and coachability first, and we pay for credentials. Bring an OSHA 30 and real field experience, and we will sponsor the rest, including your OSHA 500 or 501 and your American Heart Association instructor card. Compensation and Schedule - Starts at $60,000 per year, paid biweekly, with room above that for the right experience and credentials - Full time, 40 hours per week - Home base: Arlington, Texas, serving the Dallas and Fort Worth area - Regular travel to client sites, primarily across Texas, with periodic overnight and multi-day assignments - Travel is covered by OccuPros: lodging and airfare, mileage reimbursement at the IRS standard rate for personal vehicle use, and a meal per diem on travel days - Paid time off and paid company holidays - Position open until filled Who We Are Looking For These are the things we actually screen on. Credentials we can buy. This we cannot. - You move between English and Spanish without losing the meaning, the nuance, or the room. - You would rather a class be uncomfortable and honest than smooth and forgettable. - You can stand on a site where you are the only one saying stop, and still say it. - You explain why a standard exists. Reading slides out loud is not training and you know it. - You will not sign off on training that did not actually happen, no matter who is asking. - You treat every crew like your own family works on that site. - You want to be coached. You will be, regularly, and it will make you better. - You keep your word about where you will be and when. People plan their production schedules around you. Leadership Development Is Part of This Job Every OccuPros employee is enrolled in our internal development program, and it is a condition of employment, not an optional perk. It is completed on paid company time. - The OccuPros Way. Our orientation program covering how we work, what we will and will not do, and the standard every client interaction is held to. - The OccuPros Leadership Academy. A 22-course internal program grounded in the 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, with written worksheets, knowledge checks, and coaching conversations. Courses are released one at a time so the pace stays realistic alongside your schedule. For someone who represents us on a client site, this is not a side quest. You are often the only OccuPros person in the building, and how you carry yourself is the whole company to that client. If mandatory personal development sounds like a burden rather than an opportunity, this is not the right fit, and that is genuinely okay. What You Will Own - Represent OccuPros on client sites as the safety presence, observing work, advising supervisors, and documenting what you see - Deliver safety training in both English and Spanish, in the classroom and in the field - Teach topics including fall protection, scaffolding, confined space, excavation and trenching, electrical safety and energy control, hazard communication, powered industrial trucks, aerial lifts, rigging and signal person, work zone and flagger, and heat and severe weather - Deliver First Aid, CPR, and AED certification courses. OccuPros is an American Heart Association Training Center, so this is done in house, and we will sponsor your instructor credential if you do not already hold it. - Run toolbox talks and hands-on skill demonstrations, not just classroom time - Adapt standard curriculum to the operations, equipment, and hazards actually in front of you rather than delivering the same deck everywhere - Review and adapt training materials so the Spanish version is genuinely equivalent, not a machine translation with the safety language flattened out - Assess comprehension, document attendance accurately, and issue completion records - Serve as the bridge between English-speaking supervision and Spanish-speaking crews, especially during hazard briefings and incident response - Hold the line when somebody asks you to cut a class short or sign for training that did not happen What You Need on Day One - Fluent in English and Spanish, at a level where you can teach a full safety class in either language. This is not conversational Spanish. You will be explaining fall arrest anchor points, energy control procedures, and confined space atmospheric hazards to crews who need to understand them exactly. This is the one thing on this page we do not train. - Current OSHA 30 Hour card, construction or general industry - Enough real field experience that a crew will believe you. That can come from working the trade, supervising it, or doing safety on it. We care more that you have been there than exactly how long. - Willing and able to travel to client sites, including periodic overnight trips - Valid driver license, reliable personal vehicle, and an acceptable driving record - Physically able to perform the essential functions described below - Willingness to complete The OccuPros Way and the Leadership Academy as a condition of employment - Authorization to work in the United States Helpful, But We Will Train You None of the following are required. If you have them, say so. If you do not, apply anyway. - OSHA Outreach Trainer authorization, OSHA 500 for construction or OSHA 501 for general industry. If you do not have it, we sponsor it. - American Heart Association First Aid, CPR, and AED Instructor credential. Also sponsored. - Formal teaching or training experience, or familiarity with adult learning principles - Equipment-specific credentials such as powered industrial truck, aerial lift and MEWP, rigging and signal person, or confined space - Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 or 1910 standards - Experience writing or reviewing job hazard analyses - Experience with an online course platform or blended online and hands-on delivery Working Conditions and Physical Requirements - Active industrial and construction environments, including heat, cold, noise, dust, and uneven terrain - Standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs and ladders, and accessing elevated or confined areas - Wearing required personal protective equipment for the duration of a site visit - Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, including training equipment, manikins, props, and printed materials - Extended driving, with periodic overnight stays away from home - Early start times to match client shift schedules What OccuPros Offers - Salary starting at $60,000 per year, paid biweekly, rather than chasing per-course rates and hoping the calendar fills - Travel covered: lodging, airfare, mileage at the IRS standard rate, and meal per diem - OSHA 500 or 501 outreach trainer authorization sponsored by OccuPros - American Heart Association instructor credential sponsored - Paid time off and paid company holidays - A structured leadership development program on paid company time - Access to our full course library, curriculum team, and Mobile Training Unit, so you are not building materials from scratch at midnight - Work that treats your Spanish as a professional skill we pay for, not as free translation stacked on top of your real job - A company that backs you when you refuse to cut a class short How to Apply Apply through the application form on this listing and attach your resume, or email your resume to squad@occupros.com with Bilingual Safety Specialist in the subject line. Tell us, in either language, about a time you explained something dangerous to somebody who did not want to hear it. That will tell us more than a certification list will. We tell the people we love to buckle up, to put the phone down, to not drive when they are too tired. Then we get to work and rename that same instinct compliance. OccuPros exists to put the care back into it. We say no to shortcuts. If a client asks us to cut training short or skip steps, we decline and explain why the full process matters. No deadline, no budget, and no pressure justifies a shortcut that puts workers at risk. If you have ever been pushed to sign a roster for training you knew was not delivered, you already understand why that line matters. Here, you will not be standing on it alone. OccuPros LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
