Fire Watch / Hole Watch

OccuPros is hiring experienced Fire Watch and Hole Watch personnel for industrial, refinery, and construction projects across Texas. These critical safety roles require vigilant monitoring during hot work operations, confined space entry, and other high-risk activities to protect workers and prevent incidents. Responsibilities - Monitor hot work operations (welding, cutting, grinding) and maintain fire prevention watch - Stand watch at confined space entry points and maintain communication with entrants - Maintain awareness of changing conditions and potential hazards - Know the location and operation of fire extinguishers and emergency equipment - Initiate emergency response procedures when hazardous conditions arise - Complete watch logs and documentation per site requirements - Communicate effectively with workers, supervisors, and emergency responders Requirements - OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour certification preferred - Fire Watch training/certification - Confined Space Attendant training (for Hole Watch positions) - Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods - Comfortable working in industrial environments (refineries, plants, construction sites) - Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Texas What OccuPros Offers - Competitive hourly pay with weekly direct deposit - Consistent work opportunities across Texas - Per diem available for travel assignments - Pathway to advance into Site Safety Officer and other roles - Safety training and certification support
